Description
Touring Bungee from Non-stop Dogwear is an elastic dog lead for those who want better comfort and more flexibility during active walks and outdoor activities. The lead is partially elastic to mitigate sudden jerks when the dog increases pace, changes direction or moves in front of you.
The elastic part makes the experience softer for both dog and handler. At the same time, the lead still provides good contact with the dog, which is important when you want control but don't want the lead to feel static.
Use
Touring Bungee is particularly suitable for hiking and active walks but can also be used for running, cycling and skiing. It is available in several lengths and widths to suit different dogs, activities and situations.
For shorter walks or environments where you want more control, a shorter length may be better. For hiking or activities where the dog needs more space, a longer variant may be a better choice.
Construction
The lead is equipped with an elastic section placed furthest away from the dog to reduce oscillation in the lead. This provides a more stable feel while dampening jerks.
Touring Bungee is available in two widths:
13 mm for smaller dogs
23 mm for larger dogs or when you want a stronger lead
Carabiner
The 13 mm variant has a lightweight screw lock carabiner.
The 23 mm variant has a twist lock carabiner that locks automatically.
