CaniX belt 3.0

Non-stop dogwear CaniX belt 3.0 is an ergonomic running belt developed specifically for canicross – running with a pulling dog. The construction is designed to reduce the load on the lower back and help you maintain a more natural running technique when the dog is working in front of you.

The belt has been developed together with elite canicross athletes and combines low weight with a system where the pulling force is allowed to move in front of the body instead of locking you in a fixed pulling point.

Distributes the pulling force over the hips
When the dog pulls in front of you, the core is constantly exposed to forces that want to pull the body out of its natural line. A traditional waist belt can therefore easily cause a pull high up across the lower back.

CaniX belt 3.0 is designed to distribute the load further down over the hips. It helps to relieve the lower back and provides better conditions for maintaining an effective running style even when the dog pulls hard.

Sliding carabiner follows the dog's movements
The pull leash is attached to the included screw-lock aluminum carabiner, which can move along a loop in front of the body.
When the dog, for example, moves to the side, the carabiner follows instead of pulling the entire belt askew. The load is thus distributed more evenly over the hips, which according to Non-stop makes it easier to maintain both balance and contact with the dog in curves.

It is thus designed to provide support and power transmission without feeling like a heavy hiking belt around the body.
0.5 liter pocket
On the back, there is an expandable 0.5 liter pocket with a zipper. There you can fit, for example, a mobile phone, keys, or other small items you want to bring during the run.
For canicross – but also works for hiking
Non-stop dogwear has developed CaniX belt 3.0 primarily for running with a dog. The manufacturer also states that the belt works for walks and hiking.
Since the construction is thin, some users also choose it together with a larger backpack where a heavier waist belt could have gotten in the way.

Secure attachment
The belt is delivered with a screw-lock aluminum carabiner as the standard attachment for the pull leash. Non-stop specifies a tensile strength for the belt of 300 kg.
The carabiner can also be replaced with other compatible attachments if you prefer a different system.

How the CaniX belt 3.0 should fit
The belt is placed above the hip bones and adjusted together with the leg straps. The rear pocket should be centered over the seat.
Non-stop recommends approximately 15 cm between the body and the carabiner when the front piece is correctly adjusted. The carabiner should be used with the screw lock pointing upwards.

Care Instructions
CaniX belt 3.0 can, according to Non-stop dogwear, be hand washed or machine washed on a gentle program at 30 °C. Vid maskintvätt rekommenderas tvättpåse.
