Description
Løype YogoDoggo Foam Target is a soft and raised target for dog training, developed for everything from obedience and position training to body control, dog fitness and balance exercises. The large and clear surface helps the dog understand where to place itself, while the soft foam provides a comfortable surface for the paws.
The soft construction makes YogoDoggo particularly interesting for puppies, dogs that are new to target training and dogs that do not thrive on harder surfaces.
A clear target for learning
When the dog is to learn target work, it is an advantage that the difference between the target and the ground is clear. YogoDoggo is 5 cm high and measures 39.5 × 34.5 cm, which gives the dog a well-defined surface to seek out.
This makes it useful when you, for example, want to teach the dog to find and hold a specific position.
For position, steadiness and body control
YogoDoggo can be used for many different types of training. Løype recommends it among other things for steadiness, hind leg awareness, precise positions and dog fitness.
You can for example work on the dog:
placing front paws or back paws on the target
holding a specific position
becoming more aware of the hind legs' placement
working with different fitness and body control exercises
seeking the target at a distance
Within obedience, Løype specifically mentions recall with stop and training of precise positions. The target can also be used within rally obedience and dog dancing.
Soft for puppies and beginners
The soft foam construction is one of YogoDoggo's major advantages. The surface is pleasant to step on and the construction lacks hard edges. If the dog hits the target at speed or misjudges its movement, it is therefore not met by a hard edge.
Løype recommends the model especially for puppies and dogs that have just started working with targets.
For training indoors and outdoors
YogoDoggo is water-resistant and can be used both indoors and outdoors. If it gets dirty, the surface can easily be wiped off. The clear size and shape also make it easy to see at a distance for both dog and handler.
