Description
Løype Target Pivot is a low and round target for you who want to develop the dog's precision, body control and understanding of its own movements. It can be used in everything from obedience and heel position to dog dancing, tricks and dog fitness.
Unlike a high target, Pivot is very low. Løype therefore recommends it especially for dogs that already know the principle of target work and are ready for a less obvious aid.
For pivoting and hindquarters control
Pivot work is an effective way to teach the dog to work more consciously with its hindquarters. The dog can, for example, have its front paws remain on the target while the back legs are moved around it.
This makes Pivot useful when you work with hindquarters control, turns and positions, but also when you want to build a more exact heel position. Løype specifically highlights pivoting, hind leg work and heel position as areas of use for the model.
For obedience and position training
A target gives the dog a concrete place to relate to instead of you having to try to show an exact position on the floor.
Pivot can, among other things, be used when working with heel position, distance work and various position exercises. Løype also recommends it when training downs at a distance.
Low target for further training
Løype recommends a clearer, raised target for dogs that are completely new to target work. When the dog understands the concept, a lower target like Pivot can be used to develop the training further.
This makes Pivot particularly interesting when you want to start reducing the target's importance and at the same time continue to work with precision.
Target Pivot is available in two versions:
Foam – soft and very light.
Rubber – durable and heavier construction.
Both are designed to lie stable without sliding during training. The foam version weighs only 69 g, while the rubber version weighs 495 g.

The foam version is available according to Løype in blue, yellow and pink, while the rubber version is black.
Care instructions
Wipe the target with a damp cloth as needed.
Let it dry properly before storage if it has become wet.
Store dry and protected from strong heat and direct sunlight.
Regularly check that the surface is intact and provides good grip.
Use the product as a training tool, not as a dog toy. Løype explicitly warns against leaving the dog alone with the target as it is not intended to be chewed on.
