The Box for Dogwalk

Agility Level The Box for Dogwalk is a training aid developed to make the contact zone on the dogwalk clearer for the dog. The raised and padded edges create a physical and visual boundary that helps the dog understand where to position itself on the final part of the descent. The product can be used for both running contacts and traditional 2on/2off training and is designed to help the dog develop a more independent and consistent contact zone behavior. On the dogwalk, the dog works at high speed on a relatively narrow surface. Agility Level has therefore constructed The Box with raised edges that the dog can feel physically. Instead of relying solely on a visual target, the dog also receives tactile feedback from the box's boundary. This creates a clearer reference for where the behavior should be performed. For running contacts and 2on/2off The Box is not limited to a specific contact zone method. Agility Level explicitly states that it is developed for training both running contacts and 2on/2off. This makes it useful both during the initial learning phase and when an existing contact zone behavior needs to be reinforced or refined. Soft edges for safer training The edges consist of technical, shock-absorbing foam with FullGrip coating. The construction is designed to absorb impact if the dog comes into contact with the edge during the descent. FullGrip surface The base uses the same type of granulated rubber surface that Agility Level uses on its contact equipment. This gives the dog a high-grip surface and reduces the change in feel when moving from the dogwalk surface to the training aid itself. Stable attachment The Box is attached around the dogwalk descent with strong straps. Agility Level states that the construction is adapted to the width of standardized competition dogwalks and keeps the training aid in place even when the dog works at high speed.
