Description
Agility Level Dogwalk Stride Regulator is a cylindrical stride regulator developed for training running contacts on the dogwalk. By placing the regulator on the dogwalk, you can use it as a physical and visual reference to influence the dog's stride length and thereby work on paw placement through the contact area.
Unlike a target, the regulator does not show the dog where to put its paws. Instead, it is placed where you want to influence the dog's stride, so that the dog adapts its movement around the regulator.
For running contacts
In running contacts, the dog's stride pattern is crucial for how it hits the contact area. Agility Level describes the regulator as an aid to naturally regulate the dog's stride length during training.
The placement can be adjusted based on the dog's individual movement pattern and what you want to achieve in the current exercise.
Soft in case of misjudgments
The regulator has a core of high-density technical foam and a protective outer layer. The material is padded but at the same time stable enough to function as a regulator.
It is particularly relevant in running contacts as the dog works at high speed. If the dog misjudges the stride and hits the regulator, it is soft, rather than a hard object of, for example, wood or PVC.
Quick to move
The regulator is attached with an adjustable elastic strap that runs under the dogwalk plank. This means it can be quickly moved, removed, or repositioned between repetitions without complicated tools.
It is a quite important USP for this particular product since the regulator's placement needs to be able to change as the dog's stride pattern develops.
Clear visual contrast
The bright colors create contrast against the dogwalk's rubber surface and make the regulator easier for the dog to perceive visually. It is available in several colors so you can also choose a color that contrasts well with your own obstacle.
