Plastic containers for Nosework

The Nosework Plastic Container from Løype is a scent container for nosework that is suitable for both beginners and more experienced dogs. It is designed so that the dog can investigate and identify the scent without coming into direct contact with the scent sample itself.

The container has a protective insert that keeps the scent sample separate from the dog's nose. The matte surface also makes it harder for the dog to see which container contains the scent. This creates better conditions for the dog to use its sense of smell instead of visual cues.

For the first nosework training, Løype recommends that you use three containers where only one contains the scent sample. Once the dog understands the task, you can gradually increase the number of containers and develop the training with scent discrimination and clearer markings.

The Nosework Plastic Container also fits in the Løype Nosework Stand where several containers can be placed in fixed positions. This makes it easier to train systematically without the containers being moved around while the dog searches.

The container is easy to take to training and can hold, for example, a cinnamon stick or a piece of orange peel. It is available with a lid in black, blue, pink, and yellow.
