Description
The CaniX belt 3.0 from Non-stop dogwear is an ergonomic running belt developed for canicross, where the dog runs in front of you and helps pull. The belt has been developed together with elite athletes in the sport and is designed to distribute the dog's pulling force over the hips instead of putting strain on the lower back.
When the dog pulls, the load on the body changes during the run. The CaniX belt 3.0 therefore has a sliding locking carabiner that can move along a loop in front of the body. When the dog changes direction, the carabiner follows and helps distribute the pulling force evenly over the hips. This makes it easier to maintain balance and a natural running technique even in curves.
The belt has adjustable leg straps and a removable front section that makes it possible to adapt the fit to the body. Silicone grip helps the belt stay stable during movement. The lightweight construction provides good freedom of movement even during longer runs.
The pulling line is attached to the included screw-locking aluminum carabiner. The carabiner can also be replaced with another compatible attachment. On the back, there is an expandable zippered pocket with room for, for example, a mobile phone and keys.
The CaniX belt 3.0 is developed for running with a dog but also works for walks and hiking. The thin construction also makes it a practical alternative when you want to carry a backpack at the same time.
Size Guide
Measure the circumference around the waist and choose a size according to the table. The belt has great adjustment options and size S is primarily intended for junior runners.
| Size | Waist circumference |
|---|---|
| S | 50–78 cm |
| M | 70–108 cm |
| L | 90–130 cm |
How to adjust the belt
Loosen the straps and thread the legs through the leg straps. Place the belt above the hip bones and adjust the waist and leg straps so that it fits comfortably without pinching. Then adjust the back so that the pocket is centered over the buttocks.
Attach the front section and check that it lies free from the leg straps. The carabiner's screw lock should be facing up and the opening away from the body. Non-stop dogwear recommends a distance of about 15 cm between the body and the carabiner.
